   <subfield code="a">Sản xuất nông nghiệp đóng  góp 14% vào các nguồn tổng phát thải khí nhà kính, trong đó khí CH₄ và N₂O là hai loại khí quan trọng chiếm khoảng 50% và 60% nguồn phát thải gây hiệu ứng nhà kính. Do đó sự phát triển và phổ biến các giải pháp giảm thiểu phát thải các khí trên là nhu cầu cấp thiết trong bối cảnh biến đổi khí hậu hiện nay. Nghiên cứu được thực hiện nhằm mục đích đánh giá tiềm năng phát thải khí CH₄ và N₂O trong canh tác lúa do ảnh hưởng của: hệ thống canh tác bao gồm mô hình luân canh và độc canh cây lúa; quản lý nước; xử lý rơm rạ. Các thí nghiệm được thực hiện trong khoảng thời gian từ năm 2015 – 2017 và 1 thí nghiệm kế thừa kết quả từ dự án CLUES trong vụ ĐX 2012 – 2013. Nghiên cứu bao gồm thí nghiệm trong nhà lưới, các thí nghiệm được thực hiện ngoài đồng tại Viện lúa đồng bằng sông Cửu Long và tại Thị trấn Thới Lai, huyện Thới Lai, thành phố Cần Thơ.</subfield>
