   <subfield code="a">Nâng cao hiệu suất của pin quang điện hiện nay là vấn đề được nhiều nhà nghiên cứu quan tâm. Có nhiều cách để năng cao hiệu suất của pin quang điện, trong đó cách sử dụng hiệu ứng Plasmon bề mặt được chú ý nhiều vì nó có nhiều ưu điểm hơn, hiệu suất biến đổi năng lượng cao hơn những cách khác. Các nghiên cứu về pin quang điện ứng dụng hiệu ứng Plasmon bề mặt sử dụng các kim loại quý để gây nên hiệu ứng Plasmon bề mặt. Tuy nhiên Bạc được sử dụng nhiều do chiều dài truyền Plasmon của Bạc nằm trong khoảng từ 350 nm đến 585nm, nằm trong phạm vi hoạt động của pin quang điện nên Bạc là đối tượng ưu tiên sử dụng cho hiệu ứng Plasmon bề mặt để nâng cao hiệu suất của pin quang điện.</subfield>
