   <subfield code="a">Artesunate là dẫn chất bán tổng hợp artemisinine, một sesquiterpene lactone được phân lập từ cây Thanh hao hoa vàng (Artemisia annua L.), họ Cúc (Asteracea). Thuốc dùng để điều trị sốt rét, có tác dụng mạnh và nhanh diệt thể phân liệt trong máu đối với các loại Plasmodium. Tuy nhiên, thời gian bán thải thuốc rất ngắn, 45 phút đối với thuốc dạng tiêm và 2 giờ đối với thuốc dạng uống. Để nâng cao hiệu quả điều trị của thuốc, kéo dài thời gian bán thải, tránh tình trạng kháng thuốc, đồng thời hạn chế việc đưa thuốc vào cơ thể nhiều lần gây ảnh hưởng đến sức khỏe người bệnh. Nghiên cứu đã tổng hợp hạt nano chitosan làm chất mang thuốc bằng phương pháp tạo gel ion, sử dụng tác nhân tạo liên kết ngang sodium tripolyphosphate. Để thu được kết quả điều chế hạt nano tốt nhất, nghiên cứu đã thực hiện tái deacetyl hóa chitosan ban đầu (độ deacetyl hóa (DD) khoảng 86,75%) và thu được chitosan tái deacetyl hóa có DD khoảng 96,24%. Các hạt nano được tổng hợp có kích thước rất nhỏ, dưới 50 nm. Hiệu suất bao gói 71,6%, thời gian phóng thích thuốc kéo dài trong 120 giờ ở môi trường đệm HCl/KCl (pH 1,2 tương ứng với môi trường trong dạ dày) và 216 giờ ở môi trường đệm PBS (pH 6,8 và pH 7,4 tương ứng với môi trường trong ruột và trong máu). Các đặc tính hóa lý của hạt nano chitosan mang artesunate được đánh giá thông qua các kỹ thuật hóa lý khác nhau như: FT-IR, TEM, HPLC, UV-Vis. Nghiên cứu đã tổng hợp thành công hạt nano chitosan làm chất dẫn truyền artesunate với kích thước nhỏ, kéo dài thời gian bán thải thuốc, sử dụng phương pháp đơn giản, hạn chế ô nhiễm môi trường, đưa hóa học xanh ứng dụng vào đời sống.</subfield>
