   <subfield code="a">Nghiên cứu được tiến hành nhằm đánh giá việc bổ  sung Lactobacillus plantarum  (LP20)  lên  tăng  trưởng, hiệu  quả  sử  dụng thức ăn và tăng cường khả năng miễn dịch của cá trê vàng. Nghiên cứu gồm hai thí nghiệm, thí nghiệm 1 ảnh hưởng LP20 lên tăng trưởng và hiệu quả sử dụng thức ăn của cá trê vàng gồm 4 nghiệm thức thức ăn (44,8% protein và 7,5% lipid) có bổ sung 10; 20 và 50 ppm LP20 và nghiệm thức đối chứng (không bổ sung LP20), thí nghiệm lặp lại 4 lần, khối lượng cá ban đầu 9,69 g/con, mật độ bố trí 150 con/bể (150 L nước),  thời gian  thí nghiệm 8  tuần được bố trí trong hệ  thống tuần hoàn  riêng cho từng nghiệm  thức. Thí nghiệm 2 gây  cảm nhiễm với vi khuẩn Areromonas hydrophila gồm 5 nghiệm thức từ nguồn cá ở thí nghiệm 1 có tiêm 0,1 mL vi khuẩn A. hydrophia với  nồng 3,1x10⁶ CFU/mL và một nghiệm  thức đối chứng âm (chỉ  tiêm 0,1 mL nước muối sinh lý), thí nghiệm lặp lại 3 lần, mật độ bố trí 10 con/xô (50 L nước), thời gian thí nghiệm 14 ngày. Kết quả  thí nghiệm 1 sau 8 tuần nuôi cho  thấy khối  lượng cuối và tỉ lệ sống của cá trê vàng cao hơn và khác biệt có ý nghĩa thống kê (p&lt;0,05) ở các nghiệm thức có bổ sung 10; 20 và 50 ppm LP20 so với nghiệm thức đối chứng.</subfield>
