   <subfield code="a">Khuynh hướng sử dụng phương pháp giảng dạy theo tiến trình trong giảng dạy đọc hiểu đã dẫn đến nhu cầu thay đổi phương pháp giáo viên hướng dẫn học sinh cách liên kết kiến thức nền với nội dung mới nhằm giúp cho quá trình đọc hiểu tốt hơn. Dưới góc nhìn của quan điểm mới, chiến lược đọc hiểu Biết-Muốn-Học (BMH) dường như đầy hứa hẹn trong việc tạo cầu nối cho việc dạy đọc và khuyến khích việc tự học của sinh viên học để góp phần cải thiện khả năng đọc hiểu. Mục đích của nghiên cứu là để kiểm tra tác động của chiến lược đọc hiểu trong lớp học đọc hiểu tiếng Anh. Người tham gia nghiên cứu bao gồm hai nhóm được chọn ngẫu nhiên từ những sinh viên không chuyên ở một trung tâm ngoại ngữ của trường Đại học An Giang. Kết quả nghiên cứu cho thấy sinh viên cảm thấy thú vị hơn khi sử dụng chiến lược đọc hiểu BMH khi thực hành. Thông qua điểm số từ bài kiểm tra của sinh viên sau khi thực nghiệm cho thấy nhóm nghiên cứu đạt hiệu quả cao hơn. Thêm vào đó, thái độ của sinh viên từ những cuộc phỏng vấn cho thấy sinh viên được rất nhiều lợi ích trong việc đọc hiểu từ việc sử dụng chiến lược này. Một số đề xuất cho cả giáo viên và sinh viên khi dạy và học đọc hiểu được rút ra từ nghiên cứu này.</subfield>
