   <subfield code="a">Nghiên cứu đã khảo sát cách TBLT ảnh hưởng đến khả năng nói tiếng Anh của học sinh trung học Việt Nam so với phương pháp giảng dạy truyền thống. Ngoài ra, nhận thức của học sinh về TBLT sau khi họ được học với TBLT đã được ghi lại. 50 học sinh đồng ý tham gia vào nghiên cứu. Học sinh được chia thành hai nhóm, mỗi nhóm được phân công theo một phương pháp giảng dạy khác nhau: TBLT và phương pháp giảng dạy truyền thống. Số liệu định lượng thông qua bài kiểm tra và định tính thông qua hoạt động phỏng vấn được sử dụng. Kết quả chỉ ra rằng TBLT đã giúp phát triển khả năng nói của học sinh tốt hơn so với phương pháp truyền thống. Có sự khác biệt đáng kể giữa hai phương pháp với phần trội thiên về TBLT. Ngoài ra, kết quả cho thấy học sinh hiểu biết về TBLT ở mức độ cao và có thái độ tích cực đối với việc học với TBLT sau thời gian thực nghiệm.</subfield>
