   <subfield code="a">Bài nghiên cứu này nhằm tìm hiểu tại sao học sinh lại cảm thấy lo lắng khi nói tiếng Anh dựa trên những yếu tố liên quan đến văn hóa xã hội và những ảnh hưởng của tâm lí trên lên quá trình học tiếng Anh của các em. Những nguyên nhân được tìm thấy trong bài nghiên cứu liên quan đến những khía cạnh như: môi trường và sự thiết lập xã hội, địa vị xã hội, quan hệ quyền lực, sự tự nhận định bản thân, chứng lo ngại giao tiếp liên văn hóa. Những nguyên nhân này tương tự với những nguyên nhân được tìm thấy trong các bài nghiên cứu trước đây. Bên cạnh đó, một số kết quả mâu thuẫn liên quan đến các vấn đề về giới tính cũng được chỉ ra và khá giống với các kết quả trước. Điểm đặc biệt trong bài nghiên cứu này là sự ảnh hưởng của thái độ các bậc cha mẹ lên nhận thức của học sinh về việc học nói tiếng Anh. Ngoài những nguyên nhân liên quan đến văn hóa xã hội, các nguyên nhân liên quan đến sự tự đánh giá của bản thân học sinh, tâm lý và ngôn ngữ cũng được nghiên cứu nhằm tìm ra mức độ lo lắng của học sinh khi học nói tiếng Anh và so sánh mức độ gây lo lắng của chúng với nhau. Kết quả chỉ ra rằng học sinh trung học phổ trong trong bài nghiên cứu này có mức độ lo lắng cao khi học nói tiếng Anh. Trong đó, mức độ lo lắng gây ra bởi các tác nhân văn hóa xã hội thấp hơn mức độ lo lắng gây ra bởi các tác nhân tâm lý và ngôn ngữ; và cao hơn mức độ lo lắng của các tác nhân liên quan đến sự tự đánh giá của bản thân học sinh. Cuối cùng, bài nghiên cứu đề xuất một số phương pháp để giảm bớt sự lo lắng khi học nói tiếng Anh ở học sinh trung học phổ thông</subfield>
