   <subfield code="a">Nghiên cứu này là một nỗ lực để tìm ra cách mà học sinh lớp 11 sử dụng các chiến lược đọc để hoàn thành các yêu cầu của bài đọc trong sách giáo khoa và có thể được sử dụng để làm bài kiểm tra, thi. Quan trọng hơn, nghiên cứu tìm cách làm rõ mối tương quan giữa việc sử dụng chiến lược đọc và hoàn thành yêu cầu của bài đọc. Nghiên cứu sử dụng dữ liệu định lượng từ hai bảng câu hỏi với 80 học sinh cấp 3 đang học tại trường trung học phổ thông Bình Mỹ và dữ liệu định tính từ các cuộc phỏng vấn với 10 học sinh được chọn ngẫu nhiên từ những người tham gia trả lời bảng câu hỏi. Nghiên cứu ở phần thống kê mô tả những người tham gia sử dụng chiến lược đọc tổng thể ở mức trung bình là M = 3,14. Thêm vào đó, một cuộc điều tra về việc sử dụng các chiến lược đọc để hoàn thành các loại câu hỏi như tìm ý chính, mục đích / thái độ của tác giả, Câu hỏi suy luận, Câu hỏi tham khảo, Câu hỏi từ vựng, Câu hỏi thực tế, Câu hỏi thực tế phủ định, điều tra chỉ ra rằng học sinh sử dụng các chiến lược đọc thường xuyên hơn để hoàn thành các câu hỏi trong bài đọc hiểu. Kết quả cho thấy việc hướng dẫn các chiến lược đọc cần được xem xét để giúp học sinh phát triển các yêu cầu của bài đọc của mình</subfield>
