   <subfield code="a">Phần mềm AutoDock đã được sử dụng rộng rãi trong nghiên cứu kết nối protein-phối tử. Trong nghiên cứu này, AutoDock 4 và AutoDock Vina đã được ứng dụng để chọn lọc các hợp chất ức chế enzyme histone deacetylase 8 (HDAC8). Trong quá trình này, 8 thuốc đã biết (Vorinostat, Belinostat, Panobinostat, Trichostatin A, Dacinostat, Givinostat, Pracinostat, Oxamflatin), cùng với 24 dẫn xuất hydroxamic acid được chọn để khảo sát sự tương tác với enzyme HDAC8 (PDB ID: 1T67). Năng lượng liên kết tự do được xác định bằng cách sử dụng phương pháp gắn kết tự động với thuật toán di truyền Lamarckian (LGA). Phần mềm Discovery Studio Visualizer được sử dụng để phân tích các tương tác chính như liên kết hydrogen, vùng kỵ nước, tương tác pi-stacking với hướng hoạt động của các amino acid thơm. Dựa trên kết quả gắn kết, hầu hết các hợp chất đều cho thấy tương tác tốt và tạo liên kết hydrogen ở vị trí hoạt động của enzyme HDAC8. Đặc biệt, 6 hợp chất (VRNT4, BLNT6, BLNT7, BLNT8, BLNT9 và PNBNT4) được chọn là chất ức chế HDAC8 tốt nhất. Do đó, nghiên cứu này đánh dấu cho việc tìm kiếm các chất ức chế phân tử nhỏ mới và mạnh của enzyme HDAC8. Hơn nữa, chiến lược này cũng có thể được sử dụng để khảo sát các chất ức chế HDAC khác như một mục tiêu của liệu pháp điều trị ung thư</subfield>
