   <subfield code="a">Nghiên cứu được thực hiện nhằm khảo sát đặc điểm hình thái, mối quan hệ di truyền và hoạt tính sinh học của ba loài thuộc chi Mimosa: mắc cỡ (Mimosa pudica), mai dương (Mimosa pigra) và trinh nữ móc (Mimosa diplotricha). Khảo sát đặc điểm hình thái được ghi nhận bằng cách ghi nhận các đặc điểm thân, lá, hoa và quả và so sánh đặc điểm giữa ba loài với nhau. Nghiên cứu đã kết hợp báo cáo hình thái học với các kỹ thuật sinh học phân tử để cải thiện độ tin cậy của kết quả. Giản đồ phát sinh chủng loại chỉ ra rằng mai dương và trinh nữ móc có mối quan hệ gần hơn là mắc cỡ dựa trên phân tích trình tự ITS và matK. Bên cạnh đó, đề tài còn nghiên cứu và so sánh về hoạt tính sinh học của ba loài thuộc chi Mimosa. Kết quả định tính cho thấy trong cả ba loài đều có sự hiện diện của các hợp chất thực vật như phenol, tannin, flavonoid, quinone, coumarin, alkaloid, terpenoid, saponin và steroid. Kết quả định lượng polyphenol tổng của các nghiệm thức lần lượt là MD nhiều nhất (350,61 ± 2,92), TNM (276,15 ± 5,40), MC (248,08 ± 2,35 mg GAE/ g cao chiết). Kết quả khảo sát hoạt tính kháng oxy hóa thì nghiệm thức MD với giá trị IC50 là 66,609 µg/mL có khả năng kháng oxy hóa mạnh nhất trong ba nghiệm thức được khảo sát. Kết quả khảo sát hoạt tính kháng khuẩn Escherichia coli ATCC 25922 và và khả năng kháng nấm Fusarium sp. đều cho thấy nghiệm thức MD có khả năng kháng khuẩn và kháng nấm mạnh nhất, lần lượt tiếp theo là nghiệm thức TNM và MC. Trong đó kết quả khảo sát hoạt tính kháng khuẩn Staphylococcus aureus ATCC 25923 và kháng nấm Colletotrichum sp. thì nghiệm thức MD và TNM là mạnh nhất cho kết quả phân tích thống kê là bằng nhau. Từ đó cho thấy có mối tương quan giữa các hợp chất thực vật với hoạt tính kháng oxy hóa và hoạt tính kháng vi sinh vật trong việc khảo sát hoạt tính sinh học của dịch chiết thực vật.</subfield>
