   <subfield code="a">Hoạt tính sinh học và thành phần hóa học của tinh dầu và các cao chiết của Riềng nếp (Alpinia galanga L.) đã được khảo sát. Thành phần tinh dầu Riềng nếp bao gồm 20 cấu tử với các thành phần chính là: Eucalyptol (16,97%), α-bergamotene (10,78%), L-β-bisabolene (7,41%), (-)-β-sesquiphellandrene (6,17%) và exo-2-hydroxy-cineole acetate (5,81%). Hiệu suất ly trích tinh dầu là 0,198%. Tinh dầu Riềng nếp ức chế các loài vi khuẩn gây bệnh trên thủy sản (Aeromonas hydrophila, Aeromonas dhakensis, Vibrio parahaemolyticus và Streptococcus agalactiae) với giá trị MIC trong khoảng 1,17 – 2,34 mg/mL. Hoạt tính chống oxy hóa của các cao chiết Riềng nếp cũng được xác định qua 2 thử nghiệm là DPPH và ABTS+•, kết quả cho thấy cao chiết ethyl acetate cho hoạt tính mạnh nhất với giá trị SC50 lần lượt là 98,62 μg/mL và 22,74 μg/mL. Cao chiết n-hexane kháng các loài vi khuẩn A. hydrophila, A. dhakensis và V. parahaemolyticus với giá trị MIC là 0,625 mg/mL, 0,312 mg/mL và 0,625 mg/mL, cao chiết ethyl acetate có giá trị MIC là 2,5 mg/mL, 5 mg/mL và 2,5 mg/mL. Từ cao chiết ethyl acetate đã phân lập được 3 hợp chất là: Hydroquinone (AG01), 4-hydroxybenzaldehyde (AG03) và (E)-4-acetoxycinnamyl alcohol (AG04), trong đó hợp chất AG01 là hợp chất lần đầu tiên phân lập trong loài Riềng nếp. Hợp chất AG01 và AG04 kháng các loài vi khuẩn A. hydrophila, A. dhakensis và V. parahaemolyticus với giá trị MIC dưới nồng độ 128 μg/mL. Kết quả này cho thấy Riềng nếp có thể sử dụng như một loài dược liệu ứng dụng trong ngành thủy sản.</subfield>
