| Zusammenfassung: | This thesis examines the semantic and syntactic features of expressions
denoting love for nature between English and Vietnamese songs. The data
were collected from two hundred famous English and Vietnamese songs on
the internet. The data was described and analyzed on linguistic features under
qualitative and quantitative approaches. This paper aims is to describe and
discover the similarities and differences the love for nature in English and
Vietnamese song in terms of syntactic and semantic features.Through the
study, the study, the syntactic features of NPs, VPs, AdjPs and PPs denoting
love for nature were found between English and Vietnamese. Besides, this
study also presents the semantics features of expreesions denoting love love
“forest”, “mountain”, “tree”, “animal”, “river” and “ocean” in both languages. |
