Achoimre:Vocabulary learning strategies are definitely vital to develop an effective learning performance. Without a viable method, it is hard to make remarkable achievements in learning foreign languages. This study is conducted to explore the connection between vocabulary learning strategies and vocabulary size among the second-English language learners at the University of Foreign Language study - the University of Da Nang. Our objectives are to total up the strategies for learning new words being used by second-English language learners, to specify the level of vocabulary size among undergraduate learners, and to determine the effects of vocabulary learning strategies on vocabulary size. We have a burning desire that this study’s findings will have quite an effect on how undergraduate students choose their strategy to gain undesirable results.
