These two sets of data are structurally described and contrastively analyzed under a qualitative and quantitative approachs. The first source consists of 100 words and phrases in quotation marks from The Economist and Business in English, the second source comprises 100 words and phrases in quotation marks from Kinh te Sai Gon and Kinh te chau A- Thai Binh Duong in Vietnamese. The findings of the study show that words and phrases in quotation marks from economic in English and Vietnamese are generally similar in structure patterns, but difference in the frequence or in the formality of words and phrases.
