Therefore, this study aimed to investigate the perception of reading comprehension problems in Vstep reading tests among final-year English - majored students who had taken the Vstep exam and put forward some solutions to address these problems. The research employed a mixed methods approach, incorporating both surveys and in-depth interviews. The study involved 250 senior English-majored students at UFLs. Findings from both quantitative and qualitative data revealed a consensus among students regarding the primary challenge in Vstep reading test comprehension being associated with language knowledge.
