The green economy has emerged as a sustainable development model addressing challenges such as climate change, natural resource degradation, and unsustainable economic growth. Studies and data from both developed and developing countries are analyzed to elucidate the relationship between sustainable development and the green economy. Despite numerous opportunities, the transition to a green economy faces significant challenges related to costs, technology, and policy.
