Description
Summary:Based on the SOR (Stimulus - Organism - Response) theoretical model, this study proposes a model of destination social responsibility (DSR) on tourists’ environmentally responsible behaviors. The study was carried out on the basis of a survey of 353 tourists in Dalat city and the linear structural model (SEM) was used to analyze the impact relationship between variables in the model. Research results show that destination social responsibility has positive impact on tourists’ environmentally responsible behaviors through three mediating factors: positive emotion, tourist satisfaction and tourist preference. In which, destination social responsibility has a positive impact on positive emotion and tourist satisfaction of tourists. Besides, both positive emotion and tourist satisfaction have a positive impact on tourist preference. Moreover, tourist preference has a positive impact on tourists’ environmentally responsible behaviors. This study has contributed both theoretically and practically to study of destination social responsibility.
