| Sumario: | Sports tourism (ST) is a type of tourism that combines travel activities with participation in or spectating of sports events. Tourists can engage in sports activities such as mountain climbing, trekking, running, cycling, and boating, or attend major sports tournaments like the World Cup, Olympics, and SEA Games.
This research paper discusses ST products, a distinctive tourism product of Da Lat city in particular and Lam Dong province in general. The study utilizes 700 survey questionnaires targeting tourists, employing a five-point Likert scale (ranging from very good, good, average, poor, to very poor). The collected data is then analyzed using SPSS (a statistical software package used in social research) to assess key factors, including: Descriptive statistics: Mean, standard deviation, maximum, minimum, etc and reliability analysis. The primary objective is to evaluate the quality and effectiveness of ST products in Lam Dong based on criteria such as: Locations for activities and sports events, information and organization, destination quality. From these findings, the paper proposes scientific recommendations and solutions for the development of ST in Lam Dong, aiming to generate economic benefits and enhance the region's cultural value. |
