Sammanfattning:Genetic relationship between, α, β and α and G4 subunits - null mutant genes was studied by reciprocal hybridization between heterozygous individuals (M8) a cultivar "Keburi" α subunits - null . Genetic analysis of the F2 seeds showed that the α and, β subunits- null gene (ala) segregated independently with both Cgy/cgy1 and Gy4/gy4 gene loci. However, the ignificant departure (21: 7 : 3 : 1) from the Mendelian segregation ratio ( 9: 3 : 3 : 1) was obtained for each of the gene pairing frequencies due to the abundance of the male gametophytes with "A" dominant to those with the mutant gene (a)
