He sees Reagan as an upbeat, forward-looking candidate. At the same time, he makes Jimmy Carter out to be desperate and vindictive as he tries to cling to the Presidency. The book's best feature (as is the case with the whole MOTP series) is White's vivid depiction of the high drama that Presidential campaigns once represented | ||
