The second section consists of regional surveys of areas of the developing world: Latin America, Central and Eastern Europe, Asia, Sub-Saharan Africa, and the Middle East and North Africa. On the CD-ROM, specific country cases of Bangladesh, India, the Philippines, Russia, South Africa, Thailand, and the Ukraine are presented.
