Description
Résumé:Luzzatto and Shirazi, engineers with a large international electronics company, offer experienced radio and communication engineers and graduate and advanced undergraduate students a self-contained guide to designing wireless modem and transceiver devices. They employ advanced mathematical and theoretical tools, but avoid esoteric theoretical discussions and material that is only of historical interest. Among their concerns are specifications characterizing performance, off-the-shelf super-components, designing circuits and subsystems that are not on any shelf, parameters such as phase noise and spurs of oscillators and synthesizers, and parasitic phenomena.
