Résumé:Agroforestry has been widely seen as an ideal alnd use in areas with shallow water tables. After all, trees can use water at a high rate while also providing the land manager with an economic return an contributing to landcare objectives. However, scientific research is now showing that salts in the groundwater can build up in the root zone of the trees, limiting the growth of tress and threating thier survival.
