Sumario:Contents: History also provides us with an anchor in a storm-tossed world. Never before has change piled upon change with such bewildering rapidity. A hundred years ago, a boy expected to become a man in his father;s image. But today's young people face the future with no such assureance. A boy whose father tills the soil may become a factory worker or a college professor and live in a crowded city. Moreover. the world changes so quickly that no one lives today as he did even twenty years ago. Consequently, young people find it difficult to identify meaningfully with the past.
