Περίληψη:This book is an introductory study of the international spread of modern industrial technology during the period up to 1914. Broadly speaking, the rate of spread of technology is determined by the presence within a country of a set of social, economic and political conditions which affect its willingness and ability to undertake industrial change. At the same time, technological diffusion is a function of the adequacy and efficienncy of the mechanisms that exist for such diffusion to occur.
