It includes summary tables on the value of world exports and imports of minerals, ores and metals by country and region and by the items of the Standard International Trade Classification for the world and for development countries, as well as detailed tables concerning thirty-eight minerals and metals representing 98 per cent of world trade of mineral and metal commodities in 1997.Detailed tables on the world trade of non-monetary gold, diamonds and other precious or semi-precious stones, and semi-processed and processed forms of major minerals are also included. |
