Early chapters are devoted to the fundamentals of DC circuits, basic transient circuits, and steady-state AC circuits, followed by coverage of linear and digital electronics. Emphasis is then directed toward the electro-mechanical areas of the field including magnetic circuits, three-phase circuits, DC and AC machines, and power transformers. Optional MultiSIM exercises are also included so that many of the same types of experiences that would be obtained in a supporting laboratory can be met with the accompanying software and a PC. |
