| Summary: | During the week, Daddy wears a suit and tie and works long hours. But every weekend, he puts on an old, stained pair of pants and disappears into the old shed in the backyard where, as if by magic, he transforms into a superhero. Armed with all his implements--from handsaw to brace and bit--daddy becomes the king of handymen. Whether it's an old toaster or the neighbour's broken cuckoo clock, nothing can resist him! And now, in the greatest secrecy, daddy is preparing a surprise... This tender and humorous story will remind quite a few parents of a recent past where our everyday objects were carefully repaired at home |
