| Riassunto: | With the rapid expansion of the Internet and its indispensability in every sphere of
life, it is crucial for businesses to have an online presence, especially on search engines.
Appearing on top Search Engine Result Pages (SERPs) brings opportunities to obtain more
website access traffic and potential customers. Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is
becoming a beneficial tool for businesses in order to accomplish these tasks. This study
aims to investigate the linguistic features of SEO content in English that ranks on SERPs,
particularly Google. The researcher utilized qualitative method for this study by adopting
the model of the previous study “SEO Content Writing: A Linguistic Analysis” (Abaz
Lushaku, 2022) to recognize, evaluate, and determine the morphological, syntactic,
discursive level, and SEO metrics of SEO-friendly material. The corpus for this study was
customized from 100 websites that ranked on the first Google SERP in March, 2023. The
collected data was analyzed by StataMP and corpus analytical tools. Ultimately, key
conclusions were presented in this paper along with guidelines for creating SEO-friendly
content. |
