Achoimre:English for Human Resource Management (HRM) plays an essential role in the world of Business English. This study aims at investigating linguistic features of 100 expressions within HRM on three international business websites: CNBC, CNN Business, and Forbes. The study focuses on both morphological and semantic features of expressions. The morphological analysis reveals six types of word formation process that appear among the expressions, namely compounding, affixation, initialism, conversion, blending, and borrowing. Compounding is the most common type of word formation process with a percentage of 51.47%. The study also explores the semantic features of these expressions, categorizing them based on their shared meanings or component words, which include types of work schedules; types of workers; types of work or industries; organizational hierarchies; and issues in the workplace. By using a mixed-methods approach, this study provides a comprehensive understanding of the linguistic features of English expressions used for HRM in an international business context and provides readers with a broader lexical resource of the business world, especially in the field of HRM.
