| Streszczenie: | How to improve language learners’ pronunciation has received tremendous attention.
Therefore, a number of pronunciation learning methods have been introduced to
English-majored students. Among them, the Shadowing technique allows students to
practice and improve their pronunciation skills. This study aims to investigate the
efficiency of applying Shadowing technique to enhance the freshmen’ pronunciation
of final sounds at University of Foreign Language Studies - University of Da Nang.
The study was conducted with 20 freshmen majoring in English at UFLS. The data
were collected through surveys, pre-tests and post-tests; and ELSA tests with the
hope to show how those students improve their pronunciation of final sounds after
two weeks applying the Shadowing technique. The technique might open up a new
studying strategy in learning English pronunciation. |
