On the basic of the corpus collected from Nhat ky Dang Thuy Tram and its English version Last night, I Dreamed of Peace, the mood, modality and vocative expressions of interpersonal meaning are described and analyzed in order to help readers have more understandings on the interpersonal meaning in Nhat ky Dang Thuy Tram. On the basic of the findings, some implications are put forward for the teaching and learning English for Vietnamese learners.
