| الملخص: | This study is carried out with a view to discover features of English speeches made by Winners of the Nobel Prize in Literature. With the examples of English speeches collected, this thesis focuses on analyzing and comparing the layout features, the syntactic and lexical features and cohesive devices of speeches. It is hoped that the results of the study will serve as an access of a profound understanding of English speeches made by Nobel Prize Winners. The study will help Vietnamese learners of English to writer good speeches as well as to improve their writing skill. The findings lay the foundations of implications for teaching and learning discourse in general and in English speeches made by Winners of the Nobel Prize in Literature in particular. |
