| Zusammenfassung: | This thesis aims at analyzing the characteristic of AFSs in terms of syntactic and cohesive features in English and Vietnamese. In addition, the research focuses on the analysis of the similarities and differences of AFSs on the basis of syntactic and cohesive features. The data, therefore, are collected from different sources for the purpose of describing and analyzing in the aspects mentioned above. In the process of studying, contrastive analysis is used to find out most commonly structures and cohesive devices of AFSs in English and Vietnamese. In conclusion, implications and suggestions for further study are mentioned. |
