| סיכום: | This paper has been done in an effort to study the linguistic features of result copular verbs in English and in Vietnamese. The samples used in the paper are those taken from different sources in both languages. This collocation of samples has been analyzed to find out the syntactic and semantic features of result copular verbs as well as reveal similarities and differences between English result copular verbs and Vietnamese ones. The paper also shows the distribution of these result copular verbs. With the description and comparison between result copular verbs in English and those in Vietnamese, the findings will serve as a foundation to put forward a number of implications for English language teaching and learning. Finally, suggestions for further study are made for anyone who is interested in this problem. |
