| Sažetak: | This thesis provides a comparison between pragmatic features of prohibiting in English and in Vietnamese. This study focuses mainly on verbal communication through the analysis of the data collected from dictionaries, grammar books, short stories and survey questionnaires both in English and Vietnamese. In order to recognize the pragmatic features, we also mention about the syntactic and cross communication features of prohibiting in English and Vietnamese. All the efforts are made with the hope of revealing many interesting things. |
