| Achoimre: | This research aims to evaluate the Vietnamese translation of “The ThornBirds” using House’s Model of Translation Quality Assessment. The frequency of these mismatches serves as a measure of howeffectively the target text conveys the source text's content and meaning, indicatingthe translator's adherence to an overt translation method.
