Through the classfication, 54 names of coins from various dynasties have been identified such as Trần, Hồ, Lê, Nguyễn (Việt Nam), Tang, Wu da siquo, Song, Ming, Qing (China), etc.
Through the survey at this location and the analysis of this coin collection, the authors have initially discussed on the issues such as the purpose and the time of money concealment by their owners. From the analysis of this coin collection and the relevant information, the authors think that their owners were Champa elites and they served as data to confirm that Păng Tiêng used to be a stopover of Champa aristocrats and elites on the way to take a refugee in Cambodia in the late eighteenth century. |
