Tóm tắt:Through investigation on water of 150 digging and drilling wells at Binh Thanh, Go Vap , Hoc Man District , District number 2,3,4,8,10,11, of Ho Chi Minh City , the authors have noted that these wells cannot be used any more . The polluted parameters as N03", N02" , NH4+ have passed 5 to 10 times over(the standard level). Water with bad smell and high density of harmful bacteria (especially digestive pathogen bacteria), these parameters evidently get over (the permission level). Water at the depth of 30 - 40 m is polluted with an anorganic matters as CO2, N03", N02", which are exceeding the limitation for domestic water use. In some areas as former cementeries (Phu Tho , Binh Thai), Dong Thanh landfill , rehabitation zone at Tan Thoi Hiep (Hoc Man District) , drilling well water is mostly polluted by bacteria. The urbanization and industrialization with cement cove r surface, have reduced the amount of replenished water and lowered the water table. In addition , water with low pH (compose with many organic acid), and the permanent presence of Fe2+ and Fe3 + , cause the declination of ground water quality. The increasing of drilling wells and the excessive water withdrawal , have caused the contamination of fresh well water by the encroachment of salt water. All problems in detail will be presented and analysed in the full paper.
