Remote sensing makes it possible to collect data from dangerous or inaccessible areas, replacing costly and slow data collection on the ground and ensuring that areas or objects are not disturbed in the process. Applications include monitoring deforestation and the effects of climate change, as well as depth sounding of coastal and ocean depths. This book is a collection of papers presented at the 29th symposium of the European Association of Remote Sensing Laboratories (EARSeL). This symposium aimed to highlight the work of the association and communicate future trends and developments in the field, both to those attending the conference and to a wider public. Subjects covered include; Earth observation, earthquake monitoring, new trends in GIS and remote sensing software packages, coasts and climate conflicts, forestry, land use and land cover, thermal remote sensing and urban remote sensing. 2013-10-02T01:23:30Z 2013-10-02T01:23:30Z 2010 Book 978-1-60750-494-8 https://scholar.dlu.edu.vn/thuvienso/handle/DLU123456789/35656 en application/pdf IOS Press |
