commission a research team with members from both Serbia and the Netherlands to execute
a study on the implications of the EU accession for the Serbian agri-food supply chain. We
thank those who were involved in formulating the terms of reference and in providing the
financial support for the study: Jan Deelstra (director International affairs), Adri de Roo
(agricultural counsellor in Zagreb/Belgrade) and Tim Heddema of the Dutch Ministry of
Economic Affairs, Agriculture and Innovation (EL&I) and Milos Milovanovic (assistant
minister) of the Serbian Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management
(MAFWM). Both Ministries established a guiding committee with members of their staff,
to which we like to express our gratitude for their comments on the report and the useful
guidance during meetings in both The Hague and Belgrade. |
