Within the book, various ways of implementing the field decomposition principle are described. Methods, as well as concrete techniques and procedures, are presented for establishing AC electric machine circuit loops and determining their parameters. The proposed methods are based on the use of the models of AC electric machine with both laminated and solid rotors, and models widely used in practice have been applied. The circuit loops for machines of various designs are established and their parameters are determined for both weak and strong skin effects.
