| 总结: | This study focuses on the English translation of nominal groups in Travellive and Heritage Bilingual Magazines. To be specific, this paper is expected to provide better insight into the representation of two translation universals, namely explicitation and simplification in the act of translating 200 Vietnamese nominal groups in Travellive and Heritage Bilingual Magazines into English. In the paper, the most common translation strategies or universals in translating Vietnamese nominal groups in Travellive and Heritage Bilingual Magazines into English are also examined and investigated, which may help the translation practitioners to create and compile more impressive and effective tourist magazines. In addition, it may be helpful in the practice of teaching and learning Vietnamese – English translation, especially in the area of press and tourism. |
