The core papers included are "Liberation of the Learner: A Self-Reliance Strategy for Education" (Sharma); "Distance Education in South Asia: Problems and Strategies for Cooperation" (Taylor); "Cooperation in Distance Education in South Asian Countries" (Marchl); and "Teacher Training and Staff Development" (Edington).
