Resumo:The purpose of this research is to investigate Vietnamese EFL high school teachers' perceptions of and the ways for imparting cultural information in classes, particularly when the majority of content in English textbooks is omitted from the new curriculum due to the COVID-19 pandemic. As well as this, it also reveals the challenges Vietnamese high school teachers face when integrating cultural contents into their lessons via emergency remote teaching – the so-called online teaching mode, amidst the pandemic and the strategies that Vietnamese high school teachers apply when shifting to online mode.
