The quantitative aspect involved an online survey, pre-test and posttest, as well as reading and vocabulary assessments. Concurrently, the qualitative method involved students completing the Dictionary Using Record Form to gain insights into their utilization of online dictionaries. Initially, 54 students participated in the pre-vocabulary test and online survey, with a subsequent selection for involvement in reading comprehension exercises and vocabulary tests spanning three weeks. The chosen participants were divided into two groups: one using online dictionaries for the reading comprehension exercises, and the other relying on Google Translate instead of a dictionary. However, both groups did not use any forms of online dictionary for the vocabulary tests.
