The data of the study was collected in ―Cho T i Xin M t V i Tuổi Th ‖ and its English translation version – ―Ticket To Childhood‖. The qualitative and quantitative approaches were exploited so as to help the researcher achieve the aims and objectives proposed. This thesis found that there are three SDs commonly used in ―Cho T i Xin M t V i Tuổi Th ‖ :simile, hyperbole and antithesis and there are many translation procedures for them. Among which, literal translation is the most used procedures for translating simile, hyperbole and antithesis as well. Besides literal translation, some procedures such as reduction and paraphrase are quite commonly-used in translation.
