Thanks to the linguistic expressions (LEs) of interpersonal meanings(IMs), people can reach their aim in communication more easily and they can get closer to the person whom they communicate with, and others can know what their relationships are. In addition, LEs of IMs play an important role in contributing to making Truyen Kieu by Nguyen Du become a great work of all time. As for similarities, both English and Vietnamese have mood, modality and pronoun, proper names used to express interpersonal meaning.
