The reference-pulse was averaged by a large number of neutron and gamma pulses in the energy range of 200 – 1000 keVee. The digital charge integration (DCI) method was also investigated to compare the effect of neutron / gamma discrimination with the RP method. Analytical results of the figure of merits (FoM) for 25 ÷ 1000 keVee energy thresholds are achieved from 4.47 to 20.6. The RP method proves to be better than the DCI method of the efficacy of neutron / gamma discrimination.
