Sumari:This new version gives greater emphasis to the role of field worker as facilitators who assis communitities to their own goals. Active participation of field workers in the course is stressed and they, in turn, learn to work with communities in assessing their problems, planning, implementing and monitoring activities. There is greater emphasis on the important role of women in agriculture and community life. Field workers are provided with examples of ways to address population and environmental problems. The basic information about nutrition has been updated and the concept of household food security is explained.
